Candice Govender

Candice Govender has a strong background in design, with experience in both digital and brand design. Candice started their career as a Designer at Seattle Coffee Co LTD in the UK, where they focused on elevating the brand through captivating collateral and content creation for social media platforms. Candice then moved on to takealot.com as a Digital Designer, where they were responsible for creating creative assets for marketing campaigns and delivering day-to-day creatives for various media touchpoints in the e-commerce space. Candice then joined Lula as a Senior Digital Designer, where they established the creative branch within the Marketing team and worked across Marketing, Product, and UX to ensure a consistent brand experience. Candice later became a Lead Designer at Lula, where they took charge of the visual development of the Lula brand and its products, allowing for scalability as the company grew. Currently, Candice is working at Kazang as a Senior Designer (Lead), further showcasing their leadership skills and expertise in design.

Candice Govender has pursued a Graphic Design degree from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology, obtaining a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) and an ND in Graphic Design from the same institution.
