Gert Elaut

Gert Elaut, PhD, CFA, has extensive experience in finance and quantitative equity management, currently serving as a Quantitative Equity Fund Manager at KBC Asset Management since August 2017. Previously, Gert worked at Ghent University from August 2011 to September 2018 as an Affiliated Researcher and PhD Candidate with responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant. Gert also contributed to RPM Risk & Portfolio Management AB as a Visiting Researcher in both 2013 and 2014. Gert's academic background includes a PhD in Finance from Ghent University, along with two Master's degrees in Banking and Finance and Economics, and a Bachelor's degree in Economics, all obtained from the same institution between 2006 and 2017.
