Bart van Buggenhout

Bart Van Buggenhout has extensive experience in the banking sector, currently serving as a Senior Business Architect at KBC Bank & Verzekering since November 2007, with a diverse background that includes roles such as Business Development Manager and Program Manager. Bart has been pivotal in managing complex projects aimed at simplifying KBC's solutions, enhancing customer and employee interactions. Bart has also played a key role in shaping KBC's business strategy in various capacities related to payments, credits, and leasing, while leading the Business Architecture team that supports the Group Payments divisions. Before joining KBC, Bart worked at Siemens as a Project Manager in IT Infrastructure Services. Bart holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science Engineering from KU Leuven and has pursued further education at Vlerick Business School. Additionally, Bart serves as Secretary General for Alumni Ingenieurs KU Leuven.
