Position summary:

Works with Director of Procurement to incorporate the strategic efforts and direction for the KBE Companies (specifically KBE Building Corporation and the KBE Foundation) into a comprehensive social media, website management, and direct e-mail marketing program that: shares our culture, engages staff and prospective employees, and informs and engages clients and others about the scope of our work and our values.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

  • Generates stories about projects, people, and culture and promotes those in the most effective outlets (website, blog, publications, social, etc.

  • Create graphics to support these stories and other company requirements

  • Helps ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice

  • Social media strategy implementation, analytics, tracking, and management

  • Monitors analytics

  • Direct Email Marketing (internal and external)

  • Website Management for corporate sites

  • Intranet Management

  • Graphic Design

Other responsibilities may include:

  • Participates in KBE University with class(es) in best practices for how our staff can use social media to help support the Companies

  • Support company events and internal marketing efforts as requested by the Director of Procurement

Education, Experience, & Qualifications:

  • BA in Digital Communications, Marketing, Communications, or similar.

  • 5-7 years of experience in similar role, preferably in A/E/C environment.

  • Ability to develop and manage a comprehensive social media program for corporate sites, including strategy, content, graphics, and analytics

  • Knowledge and experience with Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and other social media and familiarity with best practices and technological trends.

  • Ability to manage corporate websites and intranet (WordPress)

  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat

  • Knowledge of SEO and website analytics, conduct demographic and market research

  • Demonstrated ability to oversee multiple complex projects and deliver them on time and within budget.

  • Possess a keen eye for graphic layout/design and the design and technical skills to implement graphic design projects

  • Expertise in WordPress or comparable website administration tools

  • Experience with MailChimp or similar automated email platforms

  • Adept in MS Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Interest in or past experience in the architecture/engineering/construction industry
