Amy Polen has a diverse work experience in event management and leadership roles. Amy currently serves as the Director of Special Events at Great Jobs KC, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Annual Leadership Giving at the same company from September 2022 to December 2023. Amy also has experience as a Development Coordinator at Great Jobs KC from May 2017 to December 2022. Outside of Great Jobs KC, they have held leadership roles at BOTAR, Belles of the American Royal, serving as the President from January 2022 to January 2023, and as the Vice President of BOTAR Activities from January 2018 to January 2019. In addition, Amy has experience as the Director of Special Events at Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art from January 2000 to June 2006, as well as a Meeting Event Manager at Sprint PCS from April 1998 to January 2000, and an Event Manager at Creative Group Inc. from August 1997 to September 1998.
Amy Polen received their Bachelor's degree in Communications from The University of Kansas, where they studied from 1987 to 1991.
