Ted Robbins is the Managing Editor at KCRW, overseeing radio and podcast productions such as "Good Food," "The Business," and "Unscripted" since April 2023. Previously, Robbins served as the Editor for the Public Media Journalists Association, where responsibilities included editing stories from NPR member stations and training early career journalists. Robbins has held various roles at KCRW, including News Director, managing the newsroom for the Southern California NPR member station. Experience as Senior Editor/Producer at Axios involved producing Season 3 of the podcast "How It Happened." Prior to that, Robbins worked at NPR from 2015 to 2021 as Supervising Editor for Arts and Culture and served as Southwest Correspondent from 2004 to 2014. Early career experiences include reporting for PBS NewsHour and Arizona Public Media. Robbins holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master's Degree in Journalism from the University of California, Berkeley.
