John Stanfill

John Stanfill has a diverse work experience that spans over several decades. John is currently serving as the President of Kearfott Corporation, a position they assumed in June 2022. Prior to this, they held the role of Vice President, Programs and Business Development at Kearfott starting from October 2019.

Before joining Kearfott, John owned JDS Strategic Consulting, where they worked as a Senior Business Consultant. During their tenure from February 2016 to October 2019, they provided strategy, implementation, and scientific/engineering consulting services, focusing on performance improvement, strategy development, new market penetration, organization alignment, and development. John also played a crucial role in establishing and implementing key performance metrics, team building, and mentoring, along with organization culture change.

John's extensive experience includes significant roles at Northrop Grumman Corporation. From March 2014 to February 2016, they served as the Operating Unit Director, CWMDP Solutions. Prior to this, they were the Operating Unit Director, Ground Communications Systems from March 2011 to February 2014. John also held the position of President at Amherst Systems Inc from April 2006 to March 2011. In this role, they had full P&L responsibility for a global diversified portfolio for EW Simulation valued at over $100M annually. John provided executive leadership for a stand-alone wholly-owned subsidiary business unit.

Before their leadership roles, John held various other positions at Northrop Grumman Corporation from January 1987 to March 2006.

John Stanfill completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Physics at the University of South Florida from 1982 to 1984. John then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management at Duke University's The Fuqua School of Business from 2001 to 2002. Later, from 2015 to 2018, they attained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Applied Physics from The Johns Hopkins University.
