Zhuonan Wang

Zhuonan (Joanna) Wang is a Principle Engineer at Kearfott Corporation, where since March 2020, responsibilities include leading projects focused on motor development for aerospace and defense applications, analyzing RFQs, redlining drawings, defining technical scopes, and managing requirements. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Motor Design Engineer, where notable work involved creating a new motor for the Standoff Land Attack Missile Expanded Response Control Actuation Section using analytical modeling and 3D finite element analysis. Previously, at Hitachi from April 2008 to June 2015, Zhuonan contributed to next-generation technology development as a Research and Development Engineer and acted as a subject matter expert while liaising between the research laboratory and subsidiary companies. Zhuonan holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical Engineering from Tohoku University and a Master's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Fukui, with additional studies at Technische Universität Darmstadt.
