Ashay Shah

Ashay joined Kedaara Capital in 2012 and leads investment advisory across the Healthcare and Auto Components sectors.

Prior to joining Kedaara Capital, Ashay worked in the investment advisory team of Matrix Partners India, an India-focused private equity fund with $600 million under management. At Matrix, Ashay primarily focused on the financial services, education and hospitality sectors. Previously, he worked in the Investment Banking Division of Bank of America in New York, in the Financial Institutions Group, where he was responsible for the execution of M&A and capital markets transactions for banks, insurers and financial technology companies.

Ashay currently serves on the boards of Sunbeam Lightweighting Solutions Private Limited and Ami Lifesciences Private Limited and served on the board of Bill Forge Private Limited prior to its sale. He is a member of the Mumbai chapter of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization. He holds an M.B.A. with Distinction from INSEAD, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Economics from Duke University.
