Barry Hurley

Barry Hurley has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Barry currently holds the position of Principal Software Engineer at Keelvar, where they have been working since June 2020. Prior to this role, they served as a Lead Software Engineer at Keelvar from December 2018 to June 2020. Before joining Keelvar, Barry worked as a Software Engineer at the same company from January 2016 to December 2018. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Software Developer at Interactive Reporting from July 2007 to September 2011. Barry also has a background in research, as they completed a PhD at the Insight Centre for Data Analytics from October 2011 to September 2016.

Barry Hurley obtained a B.Sc Honors degree in Computer Science from University College Cork, completing their studies in 2011. Barry then pursued higher education and earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Artificial Intelligence from the same institution, concluding their studies in 2016.
