Brian Gilmer

Brian Gilmer has a rich and diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Brian most recently worked at Keepabl as the Head Of Quality Assurance since July 2020. Prior to that, they were seeking new opportunities and showcased their expertise as a Director Of Quality Assurance, where they built QA teams in startup companies and managed large teams in companies like PayPal.

Before that, Brian volunteered for a stealth mode startup company, where they contributed to website development and functionality. Brian also served as the Director of Quality Assurance at Roblox, where they organized distributed QA teams and managed outsourced QA in Romania.

Brian also gained extensive experience at Origami Logic as the Director of QA, Release, and Internal Support. During their time there, they led a globally dispersed QA team and was responsible for the daily release of code to production.

In addition, Brian worked at Kabam as the Senior Manager of Payments and Kabam.com Quality Assurance. Brian oversaw weekly releases by the Payments Team, which operated in an agile environment.

Before transitioning into the gaming industry, Brian served as a Volunteer in the Peace Corps, where they were involved in community and business development projects in Armenia. Brian created websites, developed transferable skills, and implemented grants for local NGOs.

Brian's earlier experience includes their role at PayPal as the Sr. Manager of Quality Assurance, where they managed multiple QA teams and ensured linguistic quality on international sites. Brian also held positions at Billpoint and Accolade as the Senior Manager of Quality Assurance and Manager of Quality Assurance, respectively. At both companies, they played a crucial role in ensuring high-quality testing and the successful release of projects.

Throughout their career, Brian has demonstrated their expertise in building and managing QA teams, organizing initiatives, and improving processes. Their experience spans various industries, including technology, gaming, and non-profit organizations.

Brian Gilmer attended California State University, Chico from 1985 to 1990. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Communication Information Studies.
