Adam Mccarthy

Adam McCarthy is an experienced professional in the field of technical productions and event technology, currently serving as the Managing Director at BlackOak Technical Productions since December 2018. Under the guidance of founder Tom Kehoe, Adam oversees strategy, marketing, sales, production, and operations, focusing on both top-line growth and bottom-line profitability. Previously, Adam held the position of Director of Event Technology at Kehoe Designs, and has an extensive background as a Lighting Designer and Principal Designer at A|M Design Services. Adam's technical expertise extends to roles in various capacities, including technician and master electrician for a range of events, as well as managing projects and designing systems for numerous clients. Adam holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Design and Production from the University of Michigan.
