Mike Confer

Mike Confer, SPHR has a diverse work experience in the Human Resources field. Mike is currently the Director of Corporate Human Resources at Keller Technology Corporation since June 2019. Prior to their current role, Mike served as the Human Resources, Safety & Security Manager at BASF Construction North America from July 2011 to December 2018. Mike also worked as the Human Resource Manager at Quad/Graphics from May 2010 to July 2011, where they were responsible for maintaining employee and union relations.

Before that, Mike was the Director of Human Resources at Covanta Energy from April 2008 to January 2010. Mike also worked as the HR Manager at BASF Chemicals, Watson Bowman Acme from October 2007 to April 2008. Additionally, Mike served as the HR/Safety Manager at Confer Plastics Inc. from June 2006 to October 2007, where they successfully implemented HR policies and procedures, reduced turnover, and improved safety protocols.

Prior to that, Mike worked as the Human Resources Director at Covanta Energy from June 2005 to June 2006, where they played a key role in developing new company-wide benefits and policies. Mike also worked as the Corporate HR Manager at American Ref-Fuel from June 2000 to June 2005 and as an HR Generalist at American Ref-Fuel Co. from May 1997 to June 2000.

Throughout their career, Mike has gained valuable experience in various aspects of human resources management, including employee and union relations, safety and OSHA compliance, policy development, and training program implementation.

Mike Confer, SPHR completed their Bachelors degree in Human Resource Management from Warren National University from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, they attended the State University of New York - System from 1998 to 2000, where they studied Human Resource Management, although the degree attained in that period is unspecified.
