Jim Piller

Jim Piller is a seasoned executive in the electronics industry, currently serving as Vice President of Global Operations for Tantalum and Vice President of Specialty and MnO2 Products at KEMET Electronics Corporation since January 2010. Piller oversees comprehensive operations, including engineering, quality control, production control, new product development, and human resources across the Tantalum Specialty Business Unit. Piller also holds a position on the Board of Directors at Meridian Alliance Co. and previously directed operations and development at Electrolock Inc. Piller’s career at KEMET Electronics began in 1992, progressing through roles such as Director of Technology for the Tantalum Business Group and Plant Manager. Educational qualifications include a BS in Ceramic Engineering from Clemson University, earned between 1987 and 1991.
