Phil Lessner

Dr. Phil Lessner, Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, joined KEMET in 1996 as a Technical Associate in the Tantalum Technology Group. He has held several positions of increased responsibility in the Technology and Product Management areas, including Senior Technical Associate, Director of Tantalum Technology, Director of Technical Marketing Services, and Vice President of Tantalum Technology prior to the appointment to his current position in February 2013. Dr. Lessner received a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from Cooper Union.
