Elisa Kananen

Elisa Kananen is an experienced language and literature educator currently serving as a permanent hourly teacher of mother tongue and literature, as well as Finnish as a second language at Kemin lyseon lukio and in adult basic education since August 2019. Previous roles include a teaching internship focused on Finnish language and culture at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poland, high school lecturer in language and literature in Ylivieska, and lecturing positions in both primary and secondary schools in Kalajoki. Elisa also contributed as a tutor at a multicultural center, alongside various roles in the service industry and educational support. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree and Bachelor’s degree in Literature from the University of Oulu, complemented by a high school diploma from Kalajoen lukio.
