Kejian Yao

Kejian Yao is a skilled Senior Research Scientist at Kemira since November 2019, with prior experience at Georgia-Pacific LLC as a Senior Scientist and Development Chemist, focusing on asphalt modifier and emulsifier projects. Previous positions include Senior Chemist at Ingevity, where Kejian designed and synthesized specialty chemical products from renewable resources, and various roles at the University of South Carolina, including Postdoctoral Research Fellow and PhD candidate, where research centered on renewable resource-based polymer synthesis and characterization. Kejian holds a PhD in Chemistry from the University of South Carolina and a B.S. in Polymer Science and Engineering from East China University of Science and Technology.
