Paula Salonen

Paula Salonen has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Paula started their career at Nokia in 1991 as a Product Manager and worked there until 1996. Paula then joined Elisa Oyj, where they held various roles including Product Manager, Development Manager, and Development Director. In 2007, Paula joined University Medical Center as a Compensation and Benefits Analyst. Paula later moved to Kemira in 2009, where they served as Vice President of Human Resources until 2012. After that, they took on the role of VP of HR Processes and Organizational Development until 2018. In 2018, they became the VP of Human Resources, EMEA at Kemira. In 2020, they took on the additional role of Head of Business Service Center, EMEA. Their responsibilities included leadership for business service center operations and the Gdansk office, as well as developing the workplace and supporting engagement and high performance during challenging times. Paula's work experience showcases their expertise in human resources, organizational development, and leadership.

Paula Salonen earned their M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Management from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan, during the period of 1985 to 1991. Paula later pursued an MBA from HUT MBA Programs, completing it from 1999 to 2004. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a Business Coach from the Business Coaching Center in 2011.
