Richard Vonach

Richard Vonach serves as the President of the European Pulp and Paper Chemicals Group since June 2022, representing the European Paper Chemicals Manufacturing Industry. Richard has extensive experience in business intelligence and market intelligence as the Business Intelligence Manager at Kemira since May 2015. Previous roles include Business Development and Global Marketing Manager for Graphic Paper at Akzo Nobel and various positions within Akzo Nobel focusing on product management, business analysis, and development in the paper chemicals sector. Richard began the career as a Paper Chemist at Neusiedler Papierfabrik and held a Research Assistant position at the Vienna University of Technology. Richard holds a PhD in Chemistry from Technische Universität Wien, completed in 1996.
