Barbara Ciesemier

Barbara Ciesemier has extensive work experience in marketing and communications. Barbara began their career at GATX in 1991 as a Marketing & Communications Manager. Barbara then joined Celtic Insurance Company in 1995, where they held various roles including Director of Communications, Assistant Vice President of Marketing, and Vice President of Marketing. In 2004, they joined CNO Financial Group as a Senior Director of Corporate Communications and stayed with the company until 2017. In 2018, they moved to Kemper as the AVP and Head of Corporate Communications, and later became the VP of Marketing & Communications in 2019. In 2020, they became the President of The Kemper Foundation.

Barbara Ciesemier holds a BA degree in Journalism from Drake University.
