Heidi Star is an experienced accounting and finance professional currently serving as the Director of Corporate Accounting at Kemper since August 2023. Prior to this role, Heidi held various leadership positions including Director of General Accounting at Assurant and Accounting Manager at Informa Markets Art - Art Miami. With expertise in areas such as accounting, budgeting, payroll management, and financial reporting, Heidi has demonstrated a strong proficiency in overseeing complex accounting functions and ensuring compliance. Heidi's career also includes positions with notable firms such as Goldstein Schechter Koch, Borrow a Bartender, and Morrison Management Specialists, showcasing a diverse background in both finance and business development. Heidi holds a Master’s Degree in Taxation from Florida Atlantic University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Florida International University.
