Mikaela von Martens has a diverse work experience in marketing and communications. Mikaela most recently worked at Kempower as the Head of Marketing Communications for Europe and APAC. Prior to that, they held a position as the Marketing Communications Manager for the Nordics. Before joining Kempower, Mikaela worked at 3M as a Segment Marketer in Finland and Denmark, as well as a Product Manager in Finland. Mikaela also has experience in marketing and business communications at Dow, where they held various roles including Marketing & Business Communications Specialist and Marketing & Business Communications Intern. Additionally, Mikaela worked as a Sales Agent for Tallink Silja Oy and as a Project Assistant for Eventforum during their studies.
Mikaela von Martens holds a Master of Science in Economics with a specialization in International Marketing from Åbo Akademi University, achieved between 2011 and 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Hospitality Management in Tourism from Arcada University of Applied Sciences, completing their studies from 2007 to 2011. Mikaela also obtained various certifications, including Content Marketing from HubSpot Academy in November 2022, Google Analytics for Beginners from Google in September 2018, and Managing Projects from TwentyEighty Strategy Execution in 2016. Mikaela also completed several intensive courses in Valmentavan johtamisen, focusing on leadership, interaction management, self-leadership, and team leadership, offered by Suomen Ekonomit in 2022. Additionally, Mikaela pursued Eloqua One2One 2.0 - Advanced Marketing Campaign Managers certification from Eloqua in 2015.
