Soon Chong Ong

Soon Chong Ong has a diverse work experience in the investment industry. SOON CHONG is currently the Head of ESG & ETF Investment at Kenanga Investors Berhad, where they are responsible for establishing and driving the ESG strategy, policies, and framework. Prior to their current role, they worked at ValueCAP Group for over a decade, holding various positions such as SVP of Investment and Vice President of Investment Research. In these roles, they conducted investment research on Malaysian and ASEAN markets and assisted the Head of Research in managing the investment research functions. Overall, their work experience showcases their expertise in investment management and research.

Soon Chong Ong completed their education at ACCA in 2009. Later, they obtained a Bachelor's degree from Multimedia University. In addition, they hold a CMSRL License from the Securities Commission Malaysia.
