Marti Donovan

Marti Donovan, MBA, SPHR has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources. Marti is currently serving as the Director of Human Resources at Kenco Group since October 2021. Previously, they worked as a Human Resources Business Partner at the same company from June 2013 to September 2021.

Prior to their tenure at Kenco Group, Marti was a Human Resources Manager at Sterling Technology from December 2011 to December 2012. Marti was directly responsible for all human resources and safety functions at the Brookings, SD site and other locations in 3 different states.

Marti also gained experience as an Office Manager/Human Resources at Kenco Group where they were responsible for various HR functions, including A/P, payroll, procurement, and office management. Additionally, they served as the Communications Coordinator, Wellness Coordinator, Training Coordinator, and Kenco Quality Management System Coordinator. This role lasted from 2010 to 2011.

Marti started their career as the Owner of Living Water Creations, LLC from January 2008 to December 2010.

Before that, they held the position of Human Resources Director at Quality Practitioners, Inc. from October 1998 to March 2010. In this role, they were responsible for global training, consultation, implementation, and HR activities for the company and its team of trainers and consultants.

Marti's early career also included a role as a Human Resources Manager at Experian. Here, they were responsible for the development, implementation, and deployment of HR policies, procedures, benefits, safety, and compensation programs for over 1,050 employees across multiple locations in the United States. Marti managed a team of 11 direct reports.

Marti Donovan, MBA, SPHR, holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Human Resources Management from Ohio University. Marti also obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Marketing from Ohio University. In addition to their academic achievements, Marti has obtained the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification from HRCI in March 2023.
