Valerie Cooper

Valerie Cooper is an accomplished accounting professional with significant experience in leadership roles. Currently serving as the Director of Accounting at Kenco Group since May 2008, Valerie has previously held positions such as Senior Accounting Manager and Accounting Manager for JDK Real Estate, LLC and Kenco Management Services, LLC, with responsibilities including managing the monthly close process and maintaining financial reporting structures. Prior to Kenco, Valerie was a Property Accountant and Property Management Coordinator at Butler Properties, Inc., where financial statement preparation and budget collaboration took place. Additionally, experience as a Staff Accountant in Real Estate Accounting at The Home Depot involved managing fixed assets and income statement analysis. Valerie holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Georgia - Terry College of Business, earned in 1999.
