Venkat Sivasankaran

Venkat Sivasankaran has extensive work experience, primarily in engineering management roles at Cisco. Venkat joined Cisco in 1997 and served as a Technical Leader until 2011. From 2007 to 2011, they were also an Engineering Manager. During their time at Cisco, they played a critical role in championing the Development of Install Base Enrichment Platform, a foundational data processing platform powering Cisco Service offerings valued at over 10 billion. Venkat then took on the role of Senior Engineering Manager from 2015 to 2018, where they worked closely with platform architects and stakeholders to achieve engineering excellence in implementing a highly performant, fault-tolerant, and scalable platform. From 2019 to 2020, they served as a Senior Engineering Manager at Cisco and played an instrumental role in championing CX cloud, a highly scalable SAAS offering integrating all Cisco CX assets using AWS technologies. Most recently, they joined Kencor Health in 2021 as the VP of Engineering.

Venkat Sivasankaran obtained their Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, between 1981 and 1985. In addition, they obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in May 2021.
