Jason Kephart currently serves as the Central Division Director of Emergency Management and Continuity at Indiana University, overseeing emergency management programs across multiple campuses. With extensive experience in emergency services, Jason has held multiple roles at Whiteland Fire Department, including Captain, Fire Marshal, and Special Operations officer, focusing on fire investigations, health and safety protocols, and technical rescue operations. Additionally, Jason is an adjunct faculty member at Ivy Tech Community College, teaching courses in homeland security and public safety, and has authored an introductory textbook on homeland security. Jason's contributions to public safety extend to roles such as the Chair of the District 5 Hazmat Training and Advisory Council, a sales representative for High Tech Rescue Inc., and a research associate in combating violent extremism at Nichols College. With a diverse educational background, Jason is pursuing a Master's in Counterterrorism and has previously earned degrees in international relations and homeland security.
