Brendan Scott

Brendan Scott is the Chief Technology Officer at Kenetic, a leading provider of high-frequency trading systems for cryptocurrency spot and derivatives markets. Brendan has over 15 years of experience in the software engineering and trading industries, and has held various leadership positions at Optiver, RunGopher, and RevolutionSportsPark.

Brendan began their career as a software engineer at Thales Underwater Systems, where they worked on developing C++ server-based market connections and auxiliary applications. Brendan then joined Optiver US in Chicago as a development manager, leading a team of software engineers in developing high-speed connections to various exchanges around the world.

In their role as market development team leader, Brendan was responsible forOptiver's technical architecture of trading platforms and optimizing the profitability of Optiver's trading strategies. Brendan then became managing director at RunGopher, automating conversations with customers.

Most recently, Brendan has taken on the role of Chief Technology Officer at Kenetic, where they is leading a team of engineers in building high-frequency trading systems for cryptocurrency spot and derivatives markets.
