Cheryl Cooley

Cheryl Cooley has extensive work experience in the field of higher education administration. Cheryl is currently the Director of Operations and Compliance at Kennesaw State University, where they collaborate with regional boards, coordinators, and program managers to ensure smooth organizational processes. Cheryl also assists leadership with strategic projects and program compliance. Prior to their current role, Cheryl served as the Executive Assistant to the Vice Chancellor of Internal Audit at the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia. Cheryl also held the position of System Benefits Associate at the same organization. Cheryl has previous experience at Georgia State University as a Faculty Hiring Officer and at the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia as a Senior Human Resources Professional. Cheryl began their career at Kennesaw State University as a Senior Human Resources Partner.

Cheryl Cooley holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Communication, General from Kennesaw State University, which they obtained between 1997 and 2001. Cheryl is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree in Public Administration from Valdosta State University, which they expect to complete by 2023.
