Craig Mayes

Craig Mayes is an experienced leader and educator with extensive involvement in various ministries and organizations. Currently serving as Interim Leader at Kensington Community Church and as Founder and Director of Solstice LLC, Mayes specializes in executive coaching, leadership development, and diversity training. Mayes has a long history of pastoral roles, including serving as Pastor at Communitas and Chief of Staff at The Bowery Mission. Previous positions include Chief Executive Officer of New York City Rescue Mission, where Mayes oversaw significant expansion initiatives, and a consultant for SEND International. Mayes has also held academic positions, teaching spiritual formation and counseling. Educational qualifications include multiple Ph.D. degrees in Counseling-related fields and a range of other theological and counseling degrees.
