Susan Brummel

Susan Brummel is an experienced educational professional currently serving as an Improvement Facilitator at Kent City Community Schools since June 2022. Prior to this role, Susan worked as an Educational Consultant for School Improvement at Kent Intermediate School District from October 2006 until retirement in April 2022. Earlier in their career, Susan was a teacher at Thornapple Kellogg Schools from August 1991 to October 2006, where responsibilities included serving as a Kindergarten, First and Second Grade Teacher, Instructional Technologist, Interim Assistant Principal at the Middle School, and Title 1 Instructor. Susan holds a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Western Michigan University and a Bachelor of Science in Education from Central Michigan University.
