Eric Hutchinson

Eric Hutchinson serves as the Assistant Manager of the 911 Emergency Dispatch Center at the Kent County Sheriff's Office in Michigan, a position held since August 1999. In addition to emergency communication duties, Eric is an Emergency Communications Trainer and the Master Street Address Guide Coordinator for Kent County. Since January 2007, Eric has also been the President and CEO of both GPS Bait, LLC, which focuses on law enforcement tracking systems, and The Copper Stopper, LLC, dedicated to preventing theft of copper and precious metals. Furthermore, Eric leads Stop Rx Theft, LLC, established in October 2013, providing theft recovery services for the pharmaceutical industry. Earlier experience includes a role as a Firefighter with the City of Walker from December 1999 to January 2010 and working as a Service Manager and Diagnostic Mechanic at Ronda Tire, Inc. from January 1985 to August 1999. Eric pursued higher education at Grand Valley State University from 1994 to 1996 after graduating from East Kentwood High School in 1994.
