Ashley Smolinski

Ashley Smolinski is currently serving as the Regional Manager II at Kent District Library since October 2022. With a strong background in information literacy and education, Ashley has previously worked as an adjunct instructor at the University at Albany, where responsibilities included co-teaching an online information literacy course and implementing innovative instructional methods. Experience includes internships focused on reference services and instructional support at various educational institutions, as well as a significant role as a third-grade teacher at Ithaca Public Schools, where Ashley incorporated technology into the curriculum. Ashley holds a Master of Science in Information Science from the University at Albany and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Central Michigan University.
