Alex Latzko

Alex Latzko is an experienced network operations and design professional currently serving on the Member Program Committee at NANOG and as the Manager of Technical Operations at Kentik since early 2024. Previously, Alex held significant roles at Deft, including Principal Network Architect, Lead Network Architect, and Lead Network Engineer, focusing on strategic planning and reliable network design. Additional contributions include serving as a Board Member for the OIX Association and as a Program Committee Member for NANOG. Alex's extensive background in network architecture spans multiple organizations, including Lightower Fiber Networks, San Francisco International Airport, and InterOP. Alex holds two Bachelor of Arts degrees from Rutgers University and has a longstanding commitment to network technology and community engagement.
