Deedra Lawhead

Deedra Lawhead currently serves as an Analytics Editor at McClatchy, a position held since December 2021. Lawhead has extensive experience in digital journalism, having worked as Deputy Editor for Digital at the Lexington Herald-Leader since 2000, following a role as Online Editor and a previous stint as city editor. Earlier career highlights include serving as Editor at the Elizabethtown News Enterprise from 1998 to 2000 and as City and Metro Reporter at the Daily Herald from 1990 to 1996.
