Jared Peck

Jared Peck has over two decades of experience in journalism, primarily at the Lexington Herald-Leader since 1999, where roles have included Digital Sports Writer and Real-Time Sports Writer, along with various editorial positions such as former wire editor, assigning editor, assistant news editor, and news editor. Prior experience includes serving as Copy Editor, News Desk Manager, and Presentation Editor at the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer from 1996 to 1999, and holding the position of Design Editor and City Reporter at The Winchester Sun from 1993 to 1996, as well as a brief tenure as City Reporter at the Mayfield Messenger in 1995. Jared Peck earned a degree in Communications with a focus on Journalism from the University of Kentucky between 1988 and 1993.
