Miranda Marcum

Miranda Marcum is a dedicated professional specializing in social work with a focus on interpersonal violence, family preservation, and organ donation. Currently serving as a Family and Partnership Services Liaison at Kentucky Organ Donor Affiliates since June 2023, Miranda approaches families of ventilated patients to inform them about organ and tissue donation opportunities. Previously, as a Population Health Care Extender at Mindoula, Miranda supported Anthem Medicaid recipients impacted by interpersonal violence, addressing social determinants of health and resource accessibility, particularly in rural areas. In prior roles as a Senior Case Manager at Bellewood & Brooklawn, Miranda assisted families facing child removal risks through parenting interventions and motivational interviewing. Additionally, an internship at the Commonwealth of Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services involved creating resources for therapeutic agencies in a culturally diverse community. Miranda holds a Bachelor of Social Work from Western Kentucky University and an Associate of Arts from Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College.
