Miriam Kahiro has a diverse work experience in the legal field. CS Miriam is currently serving as the Director of Legal Services & Corporation Secretary at Kenya Bureau of Standards. CS Miriam previously worked as the Head of Legal at Britam Asset Managers (Kenya) Ltd, where they provided legal support and solutions to the company's operations in Kenya and Uganda. Prior to that, Miriam worked as the Company Secretary at Youth Enterprise Development Fund and as a Legal Officer at Youth Enterprise Development Fund Board. CS Miriam Kahiro obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from Moi University in 2006. CS Miriam then attended the Kenya School of Law from 2007 to 2008, where they earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Law. In 2008, they pursued a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in International Corporate Governance and Financial Regulation at the University of Warwick, which they completed in 2009. In 2017, they obtained a certification in International Introduction to Securities and Investments from The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (The CISI). Additionally, CS Miriam Kahiro holds various certifications, including being an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, a Certified Governance Auditor, a Certified Secretary, and a Commissioner for Oaths.
