Dr. Dave Ojijo

Dr. Dave Ojijo currently serves as a Mandela Washington Fellow at Drexel University and holds the position of Chair/Convener for the Kenya Medical Association Planetary Health Committee, actively engaging in advocacy for public health and environmental policy related to climate change. As Project Manager and Medical Outreach Coordinator at the Kenya Medical Practitioners, Pharmacists and Dentists' Union, Dr. Ojijo has demonstrated expertise in resource mobilization and community medical outreach. Dr. Ojijo founded Green Health Focus and has held various medical officer roles in institutions such as Avenue Healthcare, AAR Hospital, and Kapsabet County Referral Hospital, focusing on emergency medical care, multidisciplinary patient management, and health promotion. Educational achievements include a Bachelor of Medicine from Moi University, fellowships and certificates from various prestigious institutions, with ongoing studies in Climate Change and Planetary Health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
