Capt. Patrick Ondenyi

Capt. Patrick Ondenyi has extensive experience in marine operations, currently serving as Captain at Kenya Ports Authority since February 2018, overseeing Marine Oil Terminals and Marine Safety. Previous roles include Principal Marine Officer, managing harbor crafts and safety systems, and Chief Pilot, ensuring safe marine traffic and pilotage services. Capt. Ondenyi's foundational experience at Kenya Ports Authority includes positions as Senior Marine Officer, Jetty/Dock Master, and Senior Pilot. Prior to this, Capt. Ondenyi worked as Chief Officer at SPLASH Maritime Shipping Company. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Ports and Shipping Administration from the University of Ghana and a Bachelor of Technology in Nautical Science from South Tyneside College, supplemented by various maritime courses.
