David Rainey

David Rainey is a partner in the Manchester office who represents a wide range of public bodies, and corporate and individual clients. Having qualified as a solicitor in 2012, David has over ten years of litigation experience that earned him recognition as a Next Generation Partner in Legal 500 in 2021. His specialization includes high-profile inquests, police and regulatory prosecutions, serious injury and death incidents in the workplace, and serious motoring offenses.

David’s experience also extends into the representation of defendants at police and Health and Safety Executive (HSE) PACE interviews under caution. It also includes providing rapid response for clients facing on-site health and safety emergencies.

David is incredibly thorough in his approach and has a keen eye for detail. He provides clear, concise advice to his clients, and, where necessary, he incorporates issues of media attention, public relations, and commercial implications into his strategy.

David also provides training to various organizations on how to respond to regulatory and Coronial investigations, incorporating key changes in the law.
