Simran Chawla Asa (CPA)

Simran Chawla, ASA (CPA), has worked in various accounting roles over the past few years. Simran started their career as a Junior Assistant Accountant at CBD ACCOUNTANTS in June 2018, where they gained experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliation, and payroll. Simran then joined Gramline in March 2020 as an Assistant Accountant before moving to Keolis Downer in October 2021. At Keolis Downer, they initially worked as an Account Officer, where they were responsible for accounts processing and various administrative tasks. In August 2022, Simran was promoted to the position of Assistant Group Accountant at Keolis Downer.

Simran Chawla, ASA (CPA), has a diverse educational background in the field of accounting and finance. Simran completed their Master of Professional Accounting at Melbourne Institute of Technology from 2018 to 2019. During this time, they focused on developing comprehensive knowledge and skills in accounting and finance.

In 2020, Simran pursued further education at Performance Education, where they completed a Professional Year in Accounting. This program allowed their to enhance their practical skills and gain work experience in the accounting field.

Simran's educational journey began in 2014 at PCM SD College for Women Jalandhar, where they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce, specializing in Business/Commerce, General. This program provided their with a solid foundation in various aspects of business and commerce.

In addition to their bachelor's degree, Simran also obtained a Diploma in Computer-Aided Accountancy from PCM SD College for Women Jalandhar. This diploma program, completed from 2014 to 2016, focused on equipping their with the necessary skills to efficiently utilize computer software in accounting tasks.
