Jimmy Kaanapu has a diverse work experience in the technology and healthcare industries. Jimmy co-founded Keona Health in 2011, where they served as the Co-founder and CTO. Jimmy played a key role in developing their call support software and equipping call agents and clinical staff with protocols.
In 2013, Jimmy worked as an Entrepreneur at Blueprint Health LLC, an accelerator program for healthcare companies. Jimmy helped these companies find customers and capital, and Blueprint Health was a Charter Member of the Global Accelerator Network.
Prior to that, Jimmy worked at Prudential Locations LLC as a Software Architect from 2006 to 2011. Jimmy led a team of developers in building the company's public website and received two innovation awards for their pioneering ideas. Jimmy also served as a Database Programmer and contributed to the design and building of the IT infrastructure, including a real estate data warehouse and a unified database architecture.
In 2008, Jimmy co-founded Recopia, where they devised and implemented company strategy and managed offshore developers. Jimmy also worked on search engine optimization for various websites.
Before their entrepreneurial ventures, Jimmy worked at Servco Pacific Inc. as a Database Analyst. Jimmy built a paperless reporting and delivery system using Microsoft technologies and ADP AE 7.5, which significantly improved efficiency by eliminating the need for printed reports.
Jimmy Kaanapu attended the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Management Information Systems, General.
