Joanie MacKen

Joanie Macken has a strong background in finance and management. Joanie is currently working at Kepak Group as the Head of Finance Foodservice Ireland, a role they started in February 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Kepak Group as a Commercial Finance Manager from February 2019 to February 2022. Before joining Kepak Group, Joanie was the Finance Director at Brogans Bakery from April 2017 to February 2019. Joanie also has experience working as a Depot Manager at Frylite Group Ltd from November 2015 to November 2016. Earlier in their career, they held the position of Director at Slane Farm Oils from February 2012 to November 2015, and worked in operations and finance at Slane Farm Oils Ltd from January 2010 to February 2012. Joanie started their career as a Trainee Accountant at Grant Thornton Dublin from September 2008 to December 2009.

Joanie Macken has a diverse educational background, with a focus on business and accounting. Joanie pursued a Bachelor's degree in Economics & Sociology from UCD, starting in 2004 and finishing in 2007. Following this, they attended UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School from 2007 to 2008, where they obtained a Master's degree in Management with a specialization in Entrepreneurship. Joanie later enrolled in FCCA and is currently studying to become a Chartered Accountant, starting in 2014 and with no end year specified.
