Mike McKay

Mike McKay currently serves as a board member for the Learning and Development chapter of the Local Health Plans of California, volunteering since January 2023 and facilitating instructional design workshops. In a professional capacity, Mike has been with Kern Health Systems since October 2015, progressing from Instructional Designer II to Lead Instructional Designer III. Previous roles include Help Desk Specialist II at Applus+ and Help Desk Specialist I at Greenfield Union School District. Mike is pursuing a Master of Science in Occupational Performance and Workplace Learning at Boise State University, expected to complete in December 2025, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Animation, Interactive Technology, Video Graphics, and Special Effects from Collins College.
