Lisa Hockersmith

Lisa Hockersmith, CCP, PHR has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Lisa began their career as an administrative assistant at dale bender cpa in 1982. From there, they worked as a human resource specialist at The Bakersfield Californian for six years. Lisa then became a benefits specialist at Catholic Healthcare West before transitioning to the role of administrator at Central Valley Occupational Medical Group, Inc. In 2002, they joined Managed Care Systems, LP as the director of human resources, where they stayed for a decade. Lisa then worked as an organizational capability advisor at Chevron for three years before joining Kern Medical as the vice president of human resources in 2015. In this role, they have spearheaded multiple system implementations, successfully negotiated union contracts, restructured the HR organization, and championed various leadership development initiatives.

Lisa Hockersmith holds a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) Certification from the Society for Human Resource Management. Lisa also has a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation from World at Work.
