Mika Tahvanainen

Mika Tahvanainen is a seasoned professional in the forestry and logging industry, with extensive experience at Kesla Oyj since March 2003. As Director of the Logging Equipment Business line, Mika oversees the entire operation from R&D to production, marketing, and sales, particularly after the company's reorganization in December 2017. Previously, Mika held roles including Director of Sales and Marketing, Export Manager, Business Development Manager, and Sales Manager, focusing on global sales strategies and market development in regions such as Japan, South America, and North America. In addition to a role as Partner in a logging company operated by a family member since 2010, Mika has prior experience as Operations Manager at Kaduko Oy, where a database system for timber procurement was created. Mika holds a Master of Science in Forestry from Joensuun yliopisto.
