Steve Sorg has extensive work experience in the field of orthopedic care and rehabilitation. Steve started their career at Mid Hudson Orthopedic Systems as a Certified Orthotist (CO) in 2000 and worked there until 2001. Steve then moved on to JFK JRI Rehabilitation Institute as a CO from 2001 to 2002. Steve joined Hanger Orthopedic Group in 2002 as a Certified Prosthetist and Orthotist (CPO, LO-LP) and stayed with the company until 2017. In 2017, they became the Director of Clinical Services at Mobility Clinic America and held that role until 2018. Currently, they are working at Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation as a CPO and LPO.
Steve Sorg pursued their education in a chronological order, starting in 1987 when they attended the State University of New York at Fredonia. Steve completed their Bachelor's degree at this institution in 1993. Following this, in 1998 and 1999, Steve enrolled in The University of Connecticut Health Center to study Orthotics, providing him with a CO degree. Lastly, from 2002 to 2003, they attended Northwestern University - The Feinberg School of Medicine to specialize in Prosthetics, earning a CP degree.
