Erik la Heij

Erik La Heij has extensive work experience in the chemical industry. Erik worked at Ketjen Corporation as the Clean Fuels Research & Technology Director starting in September 2018. Prior to that, they were the Technology Director Refining Solutions at Albemarle Corporation from July 2016 to September 2018. Erik also held various roles at Albemarle and Akzo Nobel Chemicals, including Technology Director Fluid Cracking Catalyst, Senior Technologist, Grouphead FCC research, and Section head FCC research.

Erik La Heij completed their Dr degree in Chemical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology from 1990 to 1994. Prior to that, they completed their Drs degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Amsterdam from 1985 to 1989.
