Robert Berie

Robert Berie is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in healthcare management and education. Currently serving as Senior Director of Payment Integrity at Optum since March 2022, Robert also holds the position of Adjunct Instructor at Keuka College since 2013. Previous roles include Director of Analysis and Recovery and Director of Claims Cost Containment at Excellus BCBS, starting in October 1993. Robert's military career in the United States Air Force spanned from May 1980 to November 2018, culminating in a retirement from active service. Educational achievements include an Associate of Science in Human Resources Management from the Community College of the Air Force, a Master of Science in Management from Keuka College, and several other relevant degrees in Health Information Management, Nursing, and Educational/Instructional Technology.
